How to sell jewelry on Ebay
57If you have made it this far, you probably are wondering how to sell something on Ebay. More specifically, you are probably wondering how to sell jewelry. Well, selling jewelry on Ebay is not any different than selling any other item. Lets cover the basics.
First of all, you will need to set up an Ebay account. This account will be a way for you and Ebay to communicate. This account will allow you to be able to post any items that you would like to sell. It will also allow Ebay to keep up with your account status. Things like what items you have sold, are selling, and watch list can be seen within your account. After you have set up your Ebay account, you will need to set up another account that will allow the buyer of your item to pay you for his/her purchase. You will need a paypal account or something similiar in order for buyers to pay for the items they purchase. I prefer paypal because of the ease of use and its intergration within the Ebay site. Another thing that is good about paypal is that it will automatically deduct your Ebay seller/user fees from your checking account on file with them. Once you sign up for paypal, you are ready to move onto selling your first item on Ebay!
You have now made it to the fun part. Things you will need in order to get to selling on EBay will be a piece of jewelry, digital camera, and healthy dose of creativity. Once your account is set up, Ebay wil virtually walk you through how to sell a product. In this case we will use jewelry for an example. At the top of your account page you will see an icon labeled "sell" click this icon. Continue on to the find a matching catagory box, once you see this box type in the word "jewelry" the webpage will bring up the relevant catagories for you to choose from and you may do so. Next, click the continue button at the bottom of the page and proceed to the page. Fill out the relevant material for your peticular piece of jewelry title the auction appropriately with good key words that are clear and precise so that a potential buyer may find your listing. While describing your item make sure that you add a few pictures from your camera so that a buyer can view this item. Take a few pictures, some close up and some away to give the buyer an idea of what it looks like. Once you finish the description, you should be able to click continue and preview your item as others will see it prior to hitting the submit button. Once you hit submit, you auction has begun and you can't turn back. Congratulations! you have now concluded posting a piece of jewelry on Ebay.

My sister-in-law does quite well selling jewelry on eBay, but she has a specific niche. She sells a certain store's jewelry and people love it. So maybe specializing in one type of jewelry, or a specific store's jewelry is another way to go with selling jewelry on ebay.
